SEOUL, November 17, 2024 - Hyundai Motor Company today unveiled the ELANTRA N TCR Edition (badged as AVANTE N TCR Edition in South Korea), a high-performance sedan that embodies the DNA of Hyundai Motorsports, designed to boost N-thusiasm for those who love driving.
Derived from the Touring Car Racing (TCR) World Tour for production-based vehicles, ELANTRA N TCR Edition represents the wealth of experience Hyundai Motor has gained since joining the TCR World Tour in 2017. Inspired by its multiple race and championship victories achieved in TCR and the extensive bank of expertise this has brought, multiple upgraded performance parts have been newly developed for the ELANTRA N TCR Edition.
The ELANTRA N TCR Edition features a lightweight Carbon Swan Neck Spoiler, which is adjustable to provide optimal downforce settings for various driving conditions and preferences. The high-performance sedan also boasts highly rigid, lightweight 19-inch N TCR forged wheels and is equipped with N Performance four-piston brakes as standard.
Hyundai N’s Motorsport-based DNA is further reinforced in the ELANTRA N TCR Edition with special interior and exterior parts, such as TCR Edition decals (in South Korea only), a race-inspired Alcantara steering wheel with a Performance Blue top marker, Performance Blue seat belts and exclusive TCR Edition badging.
“Hyundai Motor has incorporated the experience and expertise accumulated in motorsports into ELANTRA N TCR Edition,” said Joon Park, Vice President of N Brand Management Group. “We will continue to enhance the DNA of Hyundai N, so that N-thusiasts can experience the thrill of motorsports in their daily lives.”
Hyundai Motor plans to launch ELANTRA N TCR Edition in South Korea in December and expand availability to global markets next year.
